The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTCH) will move its Newark, New Jersey, Neurology and Neuroscience Research Center (NNTRCC) from Newark, N.J., to New New York, according to a letter to Gov.
Andrew Cuomo, which was shared with CNN on Tuesday.NCTRCC is one of the nation’s largest neuroscience centers.
Its clinical trial arm, the NeuroVigilance Research Institute (NVRRI), was recently awarded a $1.3 billion grant to continue the trial.NOVO Neurology will relocate to New Jersey from its current location at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where it has been in operation since 1987.
The move comes at a time when NNVTRCC is undergoing a $30 million expansion, which will include a new $30.7 million neuroscience center in the area.NURS Neuroscience will relocate from its Newark headquarters to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, according the letter.NURELL is also moving its Newark Neuroscience Center from its present location to the city.
The NeuroVendor Institute is the company’s headquarters in the city, and its offices are located in Newark.NVRNC is a clinical trial facility.
Its Clinical Trial and Imaging Science Institute is headquartered at NURELL’s Newark Neuroscience Complex, according TOKYO TIMES.NNVTRC will be renamed as the National NeuroVascular Research Institute, or NeuroVIRI.
The new name will be unveiled on March 1, 2019, according ToKYO.
