Scientists have found a new biomarkers that could help scientists identify the brain damage that’s caused by Alzheimer’s, a devastating condition in which the body’s immune system attacks and destroys nerve cells.

The new biomarkeros are in a type of protein that the body produces in response to infections and triggers inflammation.

In the study, published online May 19 in Neurology, researchers found that the biomarkers were produced in the brain of mice with Alzheimer’s when their immune system attacked and destroyed nerve cells in the hippocampus.

The researchers said the findings show that Alzheimer’s could be caused by inflammation in the body, rather than an infection, as was previously thought.

The study was led by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, who discovered the biomarker in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s.

The biomarker is called N-acetylcysteine, or NC, which is produced by the immune system in response and triggers the production of N-acyl-cysteines, or NACs.
